If you’re looking into hiring a family caregiver with CDPAP, you’re probably wondering what your family caregiver’s pay rate will be.

At Edison Home Health Care, the following are our standard CDPAP pay rates for family caregivers as well as any caregiver you choose:

Our pay rates range between $17.55 – $21.09 per hour and $26.32 – $31.63 per overtime hour. These rates reflect a general spectrum of our pay rates, but each caregiver’s particular rate will depend on a number of factors. Additionally, these rates do not necessarily indicate the highest paying rates at our Fiscal Intermediary.

Let’s Talk

Please contact us to discuss your family caregiver’s pay rate at 718-831-2900. We will be happy to go over the factors that impact your caregiver’s pay and discuss options that you may have to increase it.

What are the highest paying rates for family caregivers at your FI Agency? Are they the same as home care agencies pay home attendants?

It is difficult to publish specific “highest paying family caregiver rates” as situations may vary. It is also important to note that consumers in the CDPAP program may choose most people to be their paid caregiver – regardless of whether or not they are a family member. Please call us to discuss your specific situation and we will be happy to discuss pay rates for your caregiver – 718-831-2900.

Please Note: Edison Home Health Care is a Fiscal Intermediary (FI) for CDPAP. We do not administer the program. We can help you navigate, but application and enrollment for CDPAP must go through your Local Department of Social Services or Medicaid plan. CDPAP FI’s are sometimes referred to as CDPAP Agencies or a CDPAP Agency. It is important to distinguish between the role of an FI and that of a home care agency.
